Whichever stage of your Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) journey you’re at, I can help. From supporting you through your first EHCP application, to registering your appeal, to representing at tribunal, I’ve got plenty of experience at every single step.

You can apply for the Education, Health and Care (EHC) Needs Assessment, school can do it or we can do it for you. We do the whole EHC application for you, including gathering evidence from the school and checking through any other assessment reports for supporting evidence for £350. We will then send it to the Local Authority (LA).
This is a thorough check of the Education, Health and Care (EHC) plan and all of the associated reports and documents. We highlight where the reports and EHCP do not comply with SEND Law, seek clarification from the professionals involved and pose questions for the local authority (LA). We compile our findings in a report, backed up by case law and legislation, and send this to the Local LA. It is often most beneficial to have this done at the EHC draft stage as the report can then be used as your proposed amendments. The cost of this service is £400.
A paperwork check is essential and a prerequisite for any appeal or tribunals carried out by Bright Futures. During the paperwork check, your strength of case is assessed by our team and we will advise on exactly the next course of action to take for success at an SEN Tribunal. This costs £300.
We can support you in any meeting you have about your child’s Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). We will review paperwork before the meeting and prepare minutes afterwards as well as represent you through the EHCP meeting itself. The cost of this is £350.
Should you wish to use us for any SEN appeal, we can take over full representation and support you from beginning to end. Our aim is to manage the whole EHCP appeal process so that you do not have to. This includes submitting the SEN appeal, negotiating on your behalf with the Local Authority (LA), full responsibility for input in to the working document, writing case summaries and liaising with yourself on a fortnightly basis. We are exceptionally experienced in all types of eventualities that could occur during an SEN appeal, as we have represented hundreds of SEN tribunals to date. We can therefore advise you in the best way. The cost varies between £550 - £3,000 dependent upon the appeal you need support with. We only offer fixed costs so that you know the maximum you will pay and so that there are no unexpected costs. Please request terms and conditions for exact costs applicable to you.
We can not only support you through the whole appeal, but also on the day of the hearing too. We will act on your behalf, responding to any legal arguments the LA takes on the day. We will liaise with all witnesses and lead all SEN Tribunal proceedings. The cost for 1 day is £700.
